Ingredients: For the dough:
- 1 cup warm milk
- 2 ½ teaspoons instant yeast (1 packet)
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup (60 g) butter, melted
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon salt
Ingredients: For the filling:
- ¼ cup (60 g) softened butter
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Ingredients: For the glaze:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2–3 tablespoons milk
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Creative Process
1. Activate the yeast.
In a large bowl, mix the warm milk, sugar, and instant yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes until slightly foamy.
2. Make the dough.
Add the egg, melted butter, flour, and salt. Mix until the dough forms, then knead for 5–7 minutes until smooth and soft.
3. First rise.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
4. Prepare the filling.
Mix softened butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon into a smooth paste.
5. Shape the rolls.
Roll the dough into a rectangle (about 30 × 40 cm). Spread the cinnamon filling across the entire surface.
Roll tightly into a log and cut into 12 equal pieces.
6. Second rise.
Place the rolls into a greased baking dish. Cover and let rise for 20–30 minutes.
7. Bake.
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Bake the rolls for 20–25 minutes, until golden but still soft.
8. Glaze.
Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla. Drizzle over warm rolls.
Serving Suggestion
Serve warm, with extra glaze if you like. These cinnamon rolls are incredibly soft and perfect for cozy winter mornings.
